Child Care Program

Welcome to the Walnut Valley Unified School District Child Care Program. The Child Care Program is a non-profit program that has been operating under the school district's umbrella since 1991. The Child Care Program was run by the City of Walnut Recreation Department many years before it became part of the Walnut Valley Unified School District family.

The mission of the Walnut Valley Unified School District Child Care Program   is to provide each child with a high quality, safe, and nurturing environment.  Children will have the opportunity to develop a positive attitude towards oneself and others in their community. The staff is dedicated to providing an enriching environment that is developmentally appropriate and prepares children for academic success.

The Walnut Valley Unified School District Child Care Program is a self-funded, parent tuition paid program. It operates nine elementary schools, the Enrichment Program; two middle schools, the Teen Scene Program; one preschool, the Walnut Valley Preschool & Early Learning Center. Our programs are ran on site and each school campus and are year round programs offering before & after school care during the school year and a full day program during the summer at one central location. All sites our open 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. offering various program options.
