PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Walnut Valley Consortium Induction Program is the pathway for teachers with General Education (multiple or single subject) credentials and/or Education Specialist (M/M, M/S, EC, DHH) credentials to earn their Clear Credentials.  The Walnut Valley Induction Program provides on-going support and training for eligible teachers. The California Standards for the Teaching Profession, the Common Core State Standards, and the State Induction Program standards are the foundation for support activities and training.

Teachers holding a Preliminary General Education or Education Specialist Credential and a full time teaching position are eligible to participate in the Induction Program. California Induction is a state sponsored program by which preliminary credential holders demonstrate efficacy and earn their clear credential.  More information may be found at http://www.ctc.ca.gov/
